New FSA Resources
The Florida Department of Education has provided family and parent resources related to the Florida Standards and the FSA (Florida Standards Assessment). The FSA is the test that is replacing the FCAT beginning in March of this year. These resources are specifically for the English Language Arts (including reading) portion of the test. A link is provided below.
Money Order Alert!
Effective immediately, Escambia Schools will not be accepting money orders purchased at Winn-Dixie stores. There has been a problem with money orders being returned marked "Return to Maker" and not paid. Somehow, the money orders have not been registered properly with Western Union. Until this problem is resolved, do not use money orders purchased at Winn-Dixie.
N.B. Cook Administration Accepts ALS Challenge!
On August 22, 2014, principal Troy Brown and assistant principal Jennifer Collins accepted the ALS Challenge from both Superintendent Malcolm Thomas and the administrators of Cordova Park Elementary School.
